Michael Assaly
The Assaly family enjoys a rich Canadian heritage that has contributed to the creation of communities across North America. For three generations, the family has developed a tradition of innovative enterprise and outstanding achievement in both business and philanthropy. First generation, Michael Assaly, community leader and forger of the Assaly tradition, passed his unique talents on to his son, Thomas C. Assaly.

Thomas C. Assaly’s engineering mastery led to the design and construction of inventive and elegantly designed custom-built homes for some of Ottawa’s most prominent families. This positive experience of inspired visualization and successful creation helped to launch what would become the legacy of The Assaly Group's achievements in community development. The first of these communities was Canadian Forces Base Uplands, which included houses, schools, churches, and other buildings. More recently, The Assaly Group has developed more than 16,000 residential units and 20 communities across Ottawa, Alberta and Florida.

The legacy of‭ our company founder, The Thomas C. Assaly Charitable Foundation, has aided international humanitarian initiatives by enriching activities in social development. In Canada and abroad, the Assaly name, under the leadership of next-generation CEO Thomas G. Assaly, is synonymous with innovation, craftsmanship and financial success.
